Harcourts Academy Appoints Top Performer as New Trainer
29 November 2005
A passion for helping people to excel in their real estate careers is the focus of recently appointed Harcourts Academy trainer and well known successful sales consultant, Ailsa Dawson.
As Harcourts Academy Trainer for the Lower North Island and Wellington, Ms Dawson joins five other full time Harcourts Academy trainers working with Harcourts’ 360 plus offices in Australasia.
Ms Dawson came from a background in cartography and IT before joining Harcourts four years ago as a Sales Consultant in Khandallah. In her first year she was nominated for the annual Dominion Post Real Estate Awards in the ‘Rookie’ category and achieved a number of Harcourts awards during her four very successful years in sales which she attributed to using Harcourts’ proven systems.
Having completed the Harcourts Sales Development Programme for sales consultants when she first joined the industry, Ms Dawson said her ultimate career goal quickly became to work towards becoming a professional real estate trainer.
She added that the appeal of the role was the opportunity to play a part in helping those in the profession excel in achieving their professional and personal goals using Harcourts’ systems. “As a renowned real estate leader, Harcourts offers technology, tools, systems and training you can’t get anywhere else. Everyone goes to Harcourts to get trained,” she said.
Harcourts Academy Director, Gilbert Enoka said, “Harcourts has a very clear commitment to excellence in all parts of the real estate profession, which is why the organisation places such a strong emphasis on ongoing upskilling through the unique Harcourts Academy. We were delighted to welcome someone of Ailsa’s calibre to join our high quality training team which we believe to be unsurpassed in the industry Australasian wide.”
Ms Dawson’s predecessor, Greg Currie, recently moved to Taupo as a Harcourts sales manager.
