Ford New Zealand Managing Director Richard Matheson is pleased to announce the appointment of Lori Baldwin as the Dealer Principal of John Andrew Ford & Mazda responsible for dealerships at Grey Lynn, Henderson and Ellerslie.
"I am delighted to be announcing that Lori will be the first female Ford Dealer Principal in New Zealand, and will be heading up our largest dealership in the country," said Mr Matheson.
"She has extensive experience in the automotive industry from both the retail and manufacturing perspectives for a number of different manufacturers both in New Zealand and America."
Ms Baldwin is originally from Los Angeles and is currently General Manager for John Andrew Ford and Chief Financial Officer for the Auckland Auto Collection and brings more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry to the role.
"Lori comes with over 15 years of retail experience combined with 8 years at the manufacturer level and has done an outstanding job in her current dual roles. I have every confidence in her going forward," said Mr Matheson.
"It is an exciting time for the company and I'm looking forward to the challenges the role will bring. I have a winning team of managers behind me who have committed their full support." said Ms Baldwin.
Ms Baldwin will replace Ross Moore who has resigned to pursue other interests.
"I would like to thank Ross for his exceptional effort over the past four years at John Andrew Ford and wish him well for the future," said Mr Matheson.
