Dream Christmas Present for Six Lucky Lotto Players Who Won Lotto First Division on Christmas Eve Draw
Six lucky Lotto players from one end of New Zealand to the other have won $260,022 each with Lotto’s First Division on tonight’s Christmas Eve draw, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Trevor Hall said tonight.
“What a dream Christmas present for all of these players. It’s a fantastic feeling to be able to spread holiday cheer throughout the country.
“The good news for those who didn’t win tonight is that both Lotto Strike and Lotto Powerball have jackpotted.
“Next week’s Powerball jackpot is estimated to be a massive $8 million and Strike 4 has jackpotted to an estimated $300,000. Now wouldn’t that be an awesome way to wrap up the year.
“In the meantime, congratulations to all the lucky families who will have an extra special reason to celebrate tomorrow after winning Lotto First Division,” says Mr Hall.
The Lotto First Division winners from tonight’s draw bought tickets at:
Onerahi Bookshop Whangarei
Tauranga
City Lotto Tauranga
Countdown Lotto
Napier
Taradale Superette Taradale
Write Price Foodbarn Masterton
Elles Road
New World Invercargill
Mr Hall says lottery outlets will be closed tomorrow, Christmas Day, but players can get tickets checked at outlets on Boxing Day, and also on the NZ Lotteries website, www.nzlotteries.co.nz and through the other channels which normally publish results.
“To top off a great night for Lotto players, another 29 tickets won Lotto Second Division, taking home $15,704 each. Robyn Newman, from Hamilton, won $50,000 live on television when she spun Lotto’s Winning Wheel tonight.
This week’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Pt Chevalier Lotto Plus, Pt Chevalier, Auckland. The serial number is 116-39170061 20XX
“It’s been one of the nights where prizes have been won throughout New Zealand – what a great night for all players,” said Mr Hall.
