Flying to Europe Just Got a Whole Lot More Comfortable for Four Lucky New Zealanders

Four lucky New Zealanders have just discovered they will be travelling to Europe this year in Singapore Airlines’ luxurious SpaceBed.

Singapore Airlines’ annual ‘EarlyBird’ Europe sale running from October to December 2005 promised more than just a great airfare. Not only was every passenger who purchased an ‘EarlyBird’ ticket awarded enough bonus KrisFlyer* miles to enjoy a free additional trip to Australia or the Pacific but they were also entered into the draw to win one of four upgrades to enjoy the SpaceBed in Business Class for their entire journey.

The upgrades were drawn today and the lucky winners are:

William and Anne Mitchell who purchased tickets from House of Travel Northlands, Christchurch and

Victor and Elizabeth Allen who purchased tickets from Flight Centre Manurewa, Auckland.

About the Business Class SpaceBed

Singapore Airlines’ SpaceBed is the biggest business class bed in the sky with a length of 198.2 cm (6 feet 6 inches) long when fully extended and a bed width of 69 cm (27 inches). The SpaceBed also features KrisWorld, individual entertainment systems with 25.5cm (10.2 inches) screens and over 500 channels.

Singapore Airlines flights from New Zealand to Europe

Singapore Airlines flies 12 times weekly out of Auckland and daily out of Christchurch direct to Singapore. Round Two: Europe Sale

Following the huge success of the ‘EarlyBird’ Europe sale last October to December, Singapore Airlines will be releasing special Europe fares valid from 1 February until 10 March 2006 for all those who missed out the first time. The specials are to all Singapore Airlines’ 11 European destinations and range from $2351 to $2410 inclusive of taxes. Price variance is a result of different taxes charged by each European airport and are correct as at 23 January 2006.
