Applications to Mazda Foundation Close End of March

Individuals and groups wanting to secure financial support from the Mazda NZ Foundation have only until the end of March to apply.

Mazda NZ managing director and Mazda Foundation Trust Chairman, Peter Aitken said “They have received some very worthy applications and we believe there are many other individuals and groups who would benefit from the Mazda Foundation.”

The Foundation is giving people and organisations the chance to apply for funds from the $175,000 that is available annually.”

There are three closing dates in each year for the applications, 31 March; 30 June and 30 September.

Established at the end of 2005 the Mazda NZ Foundation has a goal of providing for specific areas of community need.

Funding will be awarded to people who are involved in projects and activities that have a unique quality with an emphasis on environmental, cultural and educational activities. Employment skills development and assistance in the arts with a view to promoting New Zealand culture are also key focuses.

For further information or to register for a grant, information is available from your local Mazda Dealer or from the Mazda Foundation website, www.mazdafoundation.org.nz.
