New Zealanders Show Keen Interest in Sports Online

AUCKLAND — 15 March 2006. The number of unique browsers to the sport category in Nielsen//NetRatings Market Intelligence has grown by over 50% overall since the start of the year, and the launch of the 2006 Super 14 Series is likely to have contributed to this growth. Since mid February we have seen growth in unique browsers to sites which are geared to sporting fans of the competition, including fantasyrugby.com, which offers a variety of ways for users to use their knowledge of the game and compete with other users online.
