Chamber Welcomes US/NZ Partnership Forum

Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce CEO Charles Finny today thanked New Zealand United States Council Chairman Rt Hon Jim Bolger and Executive Director Stephen Jacobi for the work that they have undertaken to set up the first meeting of the United States New Zealand Partnership Forum.

“The New Zealand delegation to the Forum is an impressive list of leaders from business, academia, parliament and Government. This is an impressive expression of high profile bi-partisan support for the United States New Zealand relationship. I am honoured to be part of the process,” Charles Finny said.

“Making the relationship with the United States an even closer one is a high priority for the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce. Clearly we are keen to make progress on the Free Trade Agreement front. But there is much more on the bilateral agenda than this, and much more that New Zealand and the United States can collaborate on. This dialogue is an excellent opportunity to focus on the wider agenda,” Charles Finny concluded.
