Winning Ticket Sold in Lower Hutt

$1.1 Million Lotto First Division Winning Ticket Sold in Lower Hutt

A lucky player who purchased their Lotto ticket at Park Avenue Bookshop in Lower Hutt has won $1,148,635 in Lotto First Division tonight, NZ Lotteries Deputy Chief Executive Warren Salisbury said. Lotto Powerball was not won tonight and has jackpotted to an estimated $13.5 million for next week's draw.

Lotto Strike was won by a ticket sold at Massey Pharmacy in Massey, Auckland, winning $154,937.

Bob Healey, from Wellington, won $75,000 live on television when he spun the Winning Wheel. Bob, aged 91, is the oldest person to have spun the Winning Wheel.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Mr Salisbury said winning tickets are identified by the serial number at the bottom right of every Lotto ticket. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

This week's Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Clevedon Superette in Auckland. The serial number is 243-33961492-20XX.
