First Time # 1 for Consistent High Achiever

First Time # 1 for Consistent High Achiever in Harcourts’ Northern Regional Awards

One of Auckland’s hardest working high real estate professionals was yesterday announced as the Number One Sales Consultant for Harcourts’ Northern Region for the 2005-2006 financial year.

Glenn Wells from Harcourts Massey in Auckland has been a consistent top performer for the region (including Number Two consultant in 2004-2005) and nationwide over a number of years. He also achieved Number 12 Sales Consultant for Harcourts New Zealand at last year’s national awards.

CEO of Harcourts New Zealand, Bryan Thomson, said “Glenn Wells is a shining example of excellence proving it is skill and professionalism, not just working in the highest value suburb that is the essence of an award winning business. Dealing with investment, first home and family home properties in an area renowned for strong community, Glenn’s commitment to his clients is an example for others who aspire to exceptional success in any market. Achieving Top Sales Consultant for the region is not a surprising result given his track record.”

Having been with Harcourts Massey since late 2001, Mr Wells felt his success was due to among others, “doing the basics consistently well, and always treating people with respect and acknowledging their needs.” He noted negotiation skills on behalf of property buyers and sellers was essential in the industry, however just importantly was the ability to communicate and really get to know clients’ needs to achieve their real estate goals.

The Second and Third Sales Consultant awards went to David Hibbins from Harcourts Glenfield, and Trevor Hyland from Harcourts Whangaparaoa, respectively. Harcourts’ Northern Region covers from Pukekohe north, including Auckland, with around 600 sales consultants.

Harcourts Northern Regional End of Year Awards was the second of four regional awards being held around the country this week as a build-up to the highly anticipated National Awards at Harcourts’ Conference in Christchurch, 15-17 May 2006 where close to 1,000 Harcourts delegates are expected to attend.
