Websense Web Security Software Fully Supports and Integrates with New Microsoft ISA Server 2006


Enhanced security for branch offices and superior web access protection

AUCKLAND, June 13, 2006—Websense, Inc. (NASDAQ:WBSN), a global leader in web security and web filtering productivity software, today announced the integration of Websense® Web Security Suite™ software with the soon-to-be released Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006. Websense Web Security Suite software augments the capabilities of servers such as ISA Server, and provides comprehensive real-time protection from web-based threats like bots, spyware, keyloggers, worms and viruses. ISA Server 2006 is an integrated edge security gateway that helps protect organization’s IT environments from internet-based threats while enabling end users to be more productive with security-enhanced anywhere access to Microsoft applications and data.

Websense web security software provides organizations with an easy-to-use solution that allows proactive control over malicious network traffic and management of employee access to over 90 categories of internet content, encompassing more than 15 million websites. New features within ISA Server 2006 add to the capabilities of Websense Web Security Suite to further protect and defend an organization against internal and external web-based threats

Furthermore, upgraded support in ISA Server 2006 for connecting and securing branch offices complements Websense Web Security Suite’s functionality as a highly flexible web security solution for multi-site organizations. Websense is a comprehensive web filtering and web security solution with a suite of administrative, reporting, auditing, logging, and alerting capabilities intended to satisfy the unique requirements of decentralized organizations. Given its security features and applicability to a broad set of deployment scenarios, this integration provides a highly desirable selling option for Websense and Microsoft value-added resellers (VARs).
