Ben Leads the way for
Warkworth at Harveys National Real Estate
Awards
There was plenty for the
Warkworth office to celebrate at the recent 2006 Harveys
National Real Estate Awards, and for Ben Kloppers in
particular.
Not only did he win the coveted Harveys Directors Award for ‘Outstanding Achievement in the Auction Arena’, Ben was also voted ‘Top Auction Caller’ among the four finalists at the Harveys Annual Conference which proceeded this year’s awards dinner.
Others to do well for Warkworth at the awards were Omaha sales specialist, Michael Dow, who won the ‘Most Successful Sales Person in Residential Sales’ award, and was 2nd behind David Egan for ‘Most Successful Sales Person Overall’ and Julie Beaumont, who was voted ‘Property Manager of the Year’. The team at Warkworth also performed well and took awards in a number of other categories on the night.
In only his fourth year in real estate, Ben has quickly shown an aptitude for the business after moving to New Zealand from Zimbabwe in 2000.
According to Harveys Warkworth business owner, Greg Allen-Baines, Ben possesses all the qualities to succeed in the auction arena. “He prepares well and pays great attention to detail. He has a good intuitive feel for the auctioneering process and a wicked sense of humour,” he says. “To be a good auctioneer it takes dedication and a belief in the process, which he has plenty of.”
Ben also has passion for the auction process. “I love seeing the excitement on everyone’s faces and achieving the results. That’s what stimulates me the most,” he says.
Harveys Director, Ross Hunter, a top auctioneer himself, says Ben “has worked hard to achieve his success, tripling his auction listing during the last 12 months, which is an outstanding result. He has a very professional attitude and this is also reflected in his auction calling.”
