New Harcourts Office in Heart of Rural Taranaki

Harcourts Opens New Office in Heart of Rural Taranaki

Ongoing requests from Stratford locals to have a permanent Harcourts presence to service the real estate needs of their community prompted the Harcourts Taranaki team to open its fifth office. With this Central Taranaki town of around 8,000 (including rural) having undergone one of the highest capital growths in provincial New Zealand in the last year, Business Partner in Harcourts Stratford, Roland Lina said they were delighted to see the new office open.

He added that they have been equally delighted with the positive response to the office since it opened its doors, managing a number of property sales already with business activity in excess of expectations.

Taranaki is already well serviced by Harcourts, with offices in Bell Block, New Plymouth, Waitara and Hawera, with this latest office completing the vision to provide a quality real estate experience to the public throughout the main centres in the province.

Harcourts New Zealand CEO, Bryan Thomson, said, “The growth in our business in Taranaki has been based on strong leadership through local ownership combined with industry leading systems.

Harcourts Taranaki not only has an indepth understanding of their local communities, the team is also renowned for excellence with a number of members included in Harcourts New Zealand’s top sales consultants out of 1,900 nationwide. We believe this new office will add considerably to the level of professional services the Stratford community has at its disposal.”

Born in Hawera, and having farmed throughout Taranaki and Manawatu, as well as having owned a US construction company which included subdivision work, Mr Muir combines strong local and rural knowledge with international business expertise.

He has been joined by Harvey Leach in rural and Nikki Parsons in residential, with Sally Howells as office administrator. The Stratford team is looking forward to growing the business to further service all sectors of the real estate community.
