Three Year Sponsorship Announced

Three Year Sponsorship Announced

The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants has announced Public Trust’s Silver Sponsorship of its Business Partner Programme. The sponsorship is for a term of three years starting on 1 July 2006.

The Institute’s Business Partner Programme fosters long-term business partnerships with key players and market leaders in New Zealand. The business partnerships are formed for the benefit of the Institute’s members and, ultimately, their clients

Garry Muriwai, the Institute’s chief executive, welcomed the association with Public Trust. “This sponsorship is an excellent fit; both the Institute and Public Trust are national organisations with members and customer centres that reach into heartland New Zealand. Public Trust‘s service offerings include Wills, enduring powers of attorney, trusts, and estate planning and administration. These complement the services offered by Chartered Accountants, small businesses’ most trusted business advisors. Our members will also recall that Public Trust’s chief executive, Pat Waite, was the Institute’s president from 2003–2004.”

“The relationship with Public Trust will provide our members with the confidence to refer their clients to an expert provider of trustee services,” said Mr Muriwai.

Pat Waite, chief executive of Public Trust, said, “We sought an association with the Institute. It is a strong organisation and highly respected in the business community. Chartered Accountants, like Public Trust advisors, pride themselves in providing practical professional advice.”
