Five-Star Jobs Available Now
(Auckland - 18 July 2006) ----- Following continued growth at The Langham Hotel, Auckland the property will be holding an open day for any potential employees interested in working at the five-star hotel.
The hotel currently has a significant number of part-time and full-time vacancies for people with all levels of experience.
Kimberly McFarlane, human resources manager says: "We are looking for professional, adaptable and genuine staff. Experience isn't necessarily essential, depending on the role the applicant is looking to fulfil. At the moment we have a particular need for front-of-house positions such as room attendants, porters and food and beverage attendants."
The open day will run from 2.00pm - 4.30pm, Saturday 29 July in the Hauraki Room at the Langham Hotel, Auckland.
The Symonds Street property formerly known as the Sheraton opened as the Langham Hotel, Auckland on 1 January 2005. Following a $12million dollar refurbishment earlier in the year, the hotel has seen significant growth in guest numbers and consequently the number of staff required to maintain premium service levels.
The hotel also has several senior positions available such as guest relations manager, front office duty manager, reservations supervisor and bar manager.
Fluent English speaking skills and a current New Zealand work permit/passport is essential for all vacant positions.
