The New Zealand Business Climate Change Dialogue

The New Zealand Business Climate Change Dialogue

Can business & Government come closer together in responding to climate change?

The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a dialogue on climate change on 7 September at the Wellington Town Hall.

It is clear that Government is committed to responding to climate change. This is your chance to help design the response.

This is going to mean that you as a business are going to face new investment decisions. But how can you make sensible decisions if Government policy is going to change every three years? For this reason we need to move to a consensus on how we – as Government and business respond.

Come join us to get the message across that we need a consensus, and that to achieve this, the policy response needs to be the result of a continuing dialogue between Government and business.

At the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce we are convinced that we can work together with Government in this area and that Government is willing to dialogue with business on the way forward.

To this end, we have assembled some of the key players in this area from Government, business and overseas to join in this dialogue.

This is your chance to influence the policy at a crucial time.

The New Zealand Business Climate Change Dialogue will seek to examine the best way forward for our environment, our economy and your business.
