Langham Hotel Auckland Opens Club Lounge Fit For Royalty
(Auckland, 11 September 2005) --- The Langham
Hotel, Auckland has opened an impressive 170 square metre
Club Lounge on its top floor to entertain royalty,
celebrities, and those with a preference for elegant
surroundings.
Continuing its endeavours to become New Zealand's finest hotel, the Langham has invested in excess of $500,000 to complete the new Club Lounge in order to provide guests with the most luxurious setting available.
The Club Lounge is an area exclusively for guests who stay in Club Rooms or in any of the Langham's Suites and comes with a range of complimentary enticements. Club Lounge guest benefits include 24 hour full butler service, gourmet breakfast, 24-hour access to Kapiti ice cream, homemade treats, fruit and espresso coffee along with drinks and canapés in the evening.
The new Club Lounge is over twice the size of the former lounge and stretches the whole width of the 10th floor with views of the Harbour out the north windows and views of One Tree Hill, the Domain and St Benedict's Church in the south.
The Club lounge features 42 inch plasma televisions, Rococo styled coffee tables with marble inserts, Raj Design French inspired cabriole leg lounge chairs and a black granite servery.
The Club Lounge's new look was created by Auckland-based Raj Design who were also responsible for the $12million transformation of the Langham's lobby and lobby bar 'The Winery', accommodation rooms and signature restaurant Partingtons.
