Orcon wins ISP of the year
Orcon was last night named the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the year in the Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand (TUANZ) Innovation Awards.
The award, which is voted by TUANZ member organisations recognises outstanding service, with a particular emphasis on innovation. Orcon was voted ahead of eight finalist ISPs.
"We have a strong internal focus on innovation and great service, and we are thrilled that this has been recognised by our customers" said Marketing Manger Duncan Blair. "This award is particularly valuable to us as it represents the opinions of the members of TUANZ, some of the largest end users of telecommunications in New Zealand" continued Blair.
Competition within the ISP industry has been fierce over the past twelve months. During this time Orcon has grown it's corporate account management team and ensured that the business market is well serviced.
"We would like to congratulate the other TUANZ Innovation Awards finalists and category winners. We would also like to thank all of our business customers, but in particular those TUANZ members who voted for us in these awards. We look forward to continuing to offer innovative new products backed by outstanding service to our customers in the coming year" concluded Blair.
Orcon has sustained a high level of growth over the past 4 years to become New Zealand's 4th biggest ISP, and the largest ISP that is 100% New Zealand owned and operated.
