Singapore Airlines To Redefine Premium Air Travel

Customers can look forward to the most comfortable and elegant premium class cabins in the sky as Singapore Airlines prepares to unveil its latest suite of cabin products next week.

One of the boldest and most distinct cabin designs ever to be introduced, these next generation products will set new standards of excellence for premium air travel, and reinforce the airline’s product leadership in the airline industry.

The new products were developed from plan by Singapore Airlines together with leading transportation interior designer James Park Associates (JPA). The entire process, from research to completion, took four years.

They will debut on the Airline’s new Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft, which is scheduled to begin operations at the end of the year, and then on the Airbus A380.

Key to the design of the new products and services was customers’ ideas and feedback.

“We began the development work on the new cabins four years ago by asking our frequent flyers what they wanted to see in the future of air travel. At the top of their lists were personal space, sleep, peace, and most importantly, to have control over their time while flying,” said Sak-Hin Chin, Singapore Airlines’ General Manager New Zealand.

“Without revealing too much at this point, we are proud to say that with these new products, our premium customers will enjoy all that and more,” added Mr Chin.

Besides the new products, customers travelling in First and Business Class will also indulge in inflight dining specially designed by the airline’s panel of internationally renowned chefs, state-of-the-art inflight entertainment, and exclusive Singapore Airlines cabin service.
