The Property Council of NZ has elected a new National President to replace Mr Greg Whitten of Tower Asset Management.
Mr Whitten has finished his two year term and passes the reins of leading the Property Council to Mr Paul Duffy, Chief Executive of the Dominion Group.
“I was excited to take over the role of National President for such a reputable organisation as the Property Council of NZ. I felt the organisation represented building owners, managers and investors’ interests and I was keen to put something back into the industry” said Paul of his acceptance for the National President role.
Paul wants to help the Property Council of NZ to continue to grow and to truly be that ‘first port of call’ when people need advice, information or assistance with commercial property issues. “The Property Council of NZ needs greater recognition in the industry. The organisation is doing some fantastic things on the policy front and we need to capitalise on this effort, making people aware of what we are doing and the success we are achieving” “The property Council has a great events calendar with a good breadth of topics that adds true value to members. The events allow a good interface with key sponsors and initiatives with regards to Policy.
My aim as the new National President is to communicate this more widely” Paul is motivated to give time and effort to the Property Council of NZ and relishes the opportunity of being National President. The Property Council of NZ is excited to have Paul on board and they welcome him to the team.
