TelstraClear Appoints Trans-Tasman Manager

TelstraClear has appointed Sharon De Bonis to the role of Trans-Tasman Manager. The role will provide a seamless integration between TelstraClear and its parent Telstra Australia to provide Trans-Tasman telecommunications products and services.

Ms De Bonis was previously Telstra's (Australia) National Industry Segment Manager for Banking and Finance, where she was responsible for positioning Telstra as an industry market leader for Banking and Finance Telecommunication solutions in Australia.

TelstraClear's Head of Large Enterprises Mark Wilson, who also recently joined TelstraClear from Telstra, welcomes Ms De Bonis' appointment.

"I've had the opportunity to work alongside Sharon at Telstra. She joins TelstraClear with a wealth of telecommunications experience and contacts within Telstra and Australian businesses that will benefit our customers," he says.

"With her expertise and knowledge of the two markets, Sharon will be able to coach our Trans-Tasman customers on the best telecommunications solutions to meet their business needs," he says.

Ms De Bonis joins TelstraClear with more than a decade of telecommunications experience. Prior to Telstra, she worked in various roles at SingTel Optus including National Product Manager for Business Voice, Segment Manager for Indirect Business Channel and National Merchandise Manager and National Marketing Manager for Optus World.

Ms De Bonis has a Degree in Economics and Post Graduate qualifications in Marketing and is based at TelstraClear's Wellington office.
