Direct Marketing Awards nominations

AIM Proximity dominates Direct Marketing Awards nominations

AUCKLAND, 13 December 2006 - AIM Proximity's status as New Zealand's leading direct and interactive marketing agency was reinforced following the announcement of the finalists for the 2006 New Zealand Direct and Interactive Marketing Awards.

Of the 108 total nominations that were awarded finalist status AIM dominates with 33 finalists representing over 11 clients, more than any other agency. AIM features strongly in all 9 RSVP categories as well as the Nexus award shortlist. The range of successful AIM Proximity campaigns chosen by the judges demonstrates the depth and breadth of the agency's creative capabilities.

Darryn Melrose, CEO of Aim Proximity, says: "To see the quality of competition improving year on year is great for everyone involved in the direct marketing business. There are some really innovative campaigns in the running, demonstrating the industry's strength and flair when it comes to delivering effective direct marketing campaigns."

"The fact that AIM's Proximity's work is recognised across all categories shows our commitment to a wide range of clients as well as the ability to develop solutions that meet their different needs that connect with the customer."

Award winners are revealed at the awards evening at Sky City on 23 February 2007.
