Christmas and New Year delivery arrangements for New Zealand Post
New Zealand Post would like to advise that the following service and delivery arrangements will apply over the Christmas and New Year holiday period from Friday 22 December 2006 to Thursday 4 January 2007.
Mail Delivery
These dates apply to Postie and Rural Post mail delivery.
Saturday 23 December 2006 – last mail delivery prior to Christmas Day
Thursday 28 December – mail delivery resumes
Saturday 30 December 2006 – last mail delivery prior to New Year’s Eve
Thursday 4 January 2007 – mail delivery resumes
Private Boxes
Large Private Box lobbies in Mail Centres and PostShops will be open on Wednesday 27 December and 3 January 2007 for limited hours. These will be advertised locally.
PostShops
PostShops will be open on Saturday 23 December and from Wednesday 27 to 30 December. Normal services will resume on Wednesday 3 January 2007.
Customers can check with their local PostShop or call the New Zealand Post customer service centre 0800 501 501 to confirm PostShop opening hours over the holiday season.
If customers have any queries about mail delivery or PostShop hours over the holiday season they can ring New Zealand Post on 0800 501 501.
