Mobil Fuels Competition With Instant Discounts

Competition for New Zealand fuel customers' dollar steps up again tomorrow with the launch of Mobil's new discount offer giving 4 cents off per litre fuel when customers purchase $4 or more on shop items*.

Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited Retail Sales Manager, Cam Bower, said: "Competition in the fuel market is hotting up and Mobil is committed to providing New Zealanders with real choice at the pump.

"Mobil's 4 for 4 offer provides instant discounts and that means customers save dollars not dockets," said Mr Bower. "Mobil's scheme is simple. There are no coupons or receipts to worry about losing, no need to shop at multiple businesses or to drive from 'A' to 'B' to save on fuel."

Mobil offers the discount for a much lower spend on grocery and other shop items than other discount schemes. Buying everyday items like a carwash, bread and milk, or a newspaper and magazine at a Mobil station could save you dollars on fuel.

"All of us at Mobil are very excited at the launch of this fuel discount offer. We believe Mobil customers will find this offer very competitive and very convenient," said Mr Bower.

The offer is available around New Zealand at participating Mobil branded outlets only and the offer may vary at selected sites.
