Turners Continues Free Car Valuation Service
Turners Auctions today announced that it will continue to provide free access to its True Market Challenge online car valuation service, due to overwhelming public demand.
New Zealand’s largest seller of used cars, Turners Auctions, launched the service two months ago, offering Kiwis free car valuations with public access to its 2005 – 2006 sales data.
Turners Auctions CEO Graham Roberts said the True Market Challenge has proved extremely popular recording more than 86,000 price checks over the two-month trial period.
“The True Market Challenge has been a huge hit with Kiwi car buyers and sellers alike. The service has introduced thousands of new customers to the benefits of car auctions with over 80 per cent of those using the service being new to Turners. The success of the service speaks for itself and as such we’ve decided to continue it,” he says.
Fifty per cent of the people registered to use the service have also signed up for email auction alerts.
“Car buyers are clearly getting a lot of value out of the service. Turners is the largest seller of used cars in New Zealand so we know our figures are a true reflection of what someone is prepared to pay for a car,” says Mr Roberts.
People can log on to www.turnerschallenge.co.nz to query sales prices of cars sold over the past 18 months.
