Time Left To Apply For Durex Condom Tester Role

17 January 2007

Two Weeks Left To Apply For Popular Durex Condom Tester Role

Sexually active Kiwis looking for summer fun have only two more weeks to apply to be a Durex Condom Tester.

Durex is looking for suitable applicants to become condom testers to aid in research for the organisation. The successful applicants will be given the opportunity to test the latest Durex condom innovation, Durex Avanti Ultima non latex condoms.

Since applications opened in late last year, there has been significant interest in this dream position.

New Zealanders are being urged to be quick and jump online to fill in an application form by visiting www.explorersclub.co.nz . Applicants are required to provide details as to why they think they are suitable for the role.

Victoria Potter, Durex NZ Manager says Durex has been inundated with applications since the creation of the role.

"We're looking for 100 condom testers in total, so compared to other recruitment campaigns the probability of being selected here is relatively high," says Ms Potter. "Past Durex Global Sex Surveys have shown Kiwis are an amorous bunch who are sexually adventurous in the bedroom. The overwhelming response to date from Kiwis has certainly proven this.

"By becoming a Durex Condom Tester, Kiwis have the opportunity to get steamy in the bedroom and try out another world-leading Durex condom, all in the aid of research."

Durex Avanti Ultima is the world's first Polyisoprene male condom. The material is exceptionally soft and elastic, and has been developed to provide maximum comfort for consumers. This is particularly relevant to those who have a known or suspected latex allergy.

"Durex values the opinions of its customers and this provides another avenue for gathering direct feedback from consumers on whether a product is best meeting their sexual needs," says Ms Potter.

Kiwis, who think they have what it takes to be a Durex Condom Tester, should send in their application by 31 January 2007.
