Record 90 Vehicles Entered In 2007 AA Motoring Excellence Awards
New Zealand’s most prestigious annual motoring awards, the AA Motoring Excellence Awards will take place in March this year.
“The AA Motoring Excellence Awards aim to identify and reward excellence amongst both new vehicles and areas of concern to motorists, such as the environment, safety and customer satisfaction. They also reward excellence in motoring journalism,” says Stella Stocks, General Manager AA Technical Services.
“We are delighted a record 90 vehicles have been entered by 22 new car distributors this year. That’s nine more vehicles than we had last year and all but four of New Zealand’s new car distributors represented,” says Ms Stocks.
The vehicles nominated will be tested at Taupo’s Motorsport Park during the week commencing 11 February by a panel of expert motoring judges. The 2007 AA Motoring Excellence Award winners will be announced at a black tie gala dinner at the Auckland SKYCITY Convention Centre on Friday 9 March.
The 2007 AA Motoring Excellence Award categories are: Small Car, Compact Car, Medium 4 Cylinder Car, Medium/Large Car, Luxury Car, Executive Car, Performance/Sports Car, Crossover Car, Environmental, Safety, Customer Satisfaction, and Motoring Journalist. There will also be a Supreme Winner.
