Ultimate lifestyle for Big Wednesday Winner

Media Release

Ultimate lifestyle guaranteed for $4.6m Big Wednesday Winner

A Big Wednesday player who purchased their ticket at United South City in Melville, Hamilton will find themselves living the ultimate lifestyle after winning $2 million cash plus an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, an Audi Q7, a $250,000 American Express Platinum Card, $250,000 worth of luxury travel, a Rayglass Legend 2500 Boat, a $500,000 holiday home and a $750,000 luxury apartment, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The winner is only the second player to scoop Big Wednesday's exciting new set of prizes, and has won themselves cash and prizes totalling $4,689,122.

"One of our players can now stop dreaming and start planning their life of luxury using all these fabulous prizes," says Mr McLeay.

Big Wednesday's new line-up was launched in December 2006, and was won in its first week by a lucky winner from Taradale who took home $2 million, plus the two new luxury cars.

"Big Wednesday continues to go from strength to strength and the chance to win the ultimate lifestyle really appeals to our players," says Mr McLeay.

Mr McLeay's advice for this week's Big Wednesday winner is to write their name and address on their ticket, confirming their ownership.

"They should then contact NZ Lotteries Wellington office on (04) 802 7000, and we can provide advice about the next steps to take," he says.

A ticket sold at Lincoln Heights Superette in Waitakere won Big Wednesday's second chance draw, open to all tickets bought for tonight's draw. The ticket holder has won an Audi A4.

The winning serial number is 511-58907655-13XX

"Anyone who bought their ticket from Lincoln Heights Superette in Waitakere should check it immediately," says Mr McLeay.

Mr McLeay also advises that all players write their name and contact details on the back of their tickets.
