Record Readership For NZ Weddings

15 February 2007: NZ Weddings announces record readership figures for 2006.

Latest results from Nielsen Media Research (January-December 2006) show NZ Weddings recorded a 5.8% increase in readership year on year, with a 12.4% increase on the previous release.

Equating to an additional 11,000 readers since the previous release, NZ Weddings now has the highest readership ever recorded for the title with 109,000 readers.

Commenting on the record results, NZ Weddings editor Nicky Pellegrino says: “This readership result reflects the fact that New Zealand brides are hungry for a stylish wedding magazine full of fresh ideas and creative inspiration.”

Delighted with these numbers, business communications director Pacific Magazines New Zealand, Colette Gallagher says: “We are absolutely thrilled with this result! It has been a great year at NZ Weddings with both our readership and our calibre of advertisers at an all time high! We have been focusing on ensuring that our pages look and feel as though they were the pages of a leading fashion glossy and clearly brides of New Zealand and indeed our advertisers are recognising this. New Zealand Weddings is a beautiful product and one that we pore over here at Pacific Magazines every issue, it is reassuring to know that the market feels the same way!”

With the aim of taking the hard work out of being a bride, NZ Weddings is proving to have a successful take on being the ultimate guide for every Kiwi bride.
