Binary Resource UK Sign up Another Channel Giant
- B2Lateral Ltd the latest reseller to make waves with UIU -
Binary Resource UK (BRUK), led by the team that originally developed Symantec's Ghost, has signed up new channel partner B2Lateral Ltd to help with sales of the latest version of the software-Imaging companion product, the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU 3.0), developed by Big Bang LLC.
The deal comes as BRUK ramps up its focus on the UK public sector. B2Lateral Ltd, a Novell Platinum, Microsoft Gold & VMWare Enterprise Partner, will join a host of resellers to lead the company's UK channel expansion.
In the light of recent findings published in the Gershon Review into public sector efficiency, Binary Resource UK believes that UIU 3.0 is a particularly attractive cost-saving product, especially for education and health institutions in the UK.
Some of the most time-consuming and laborious tasks for IT professionals these days are the constant updates, add-ons and reconfigurations across an enterprise. Two otherwise identical desktops can have enough driver differences to cause the cloning process to render machines inoperable without considerable manual modification.
UIU 3.0 runs alongside industry-standard cloning software, such as Ghost, and ensures that when an Image is taken of the ideal machine, all the driver combinations required by each machine are made available.
The product has been positioned as the fastest way for enterprises to roll-out software updates and set-up new desktops and laptops. Whilst also offering businesses a viable disaster-recovery solution, IT departments throughout the country are currently using UIU 3.0 as an essential time and cost saving device.
Universities such as UCL and NHS trusts such as HomeFirst in Northern Ireland currently use UIU 3.0 and resellers such as B2Lateral Ltd are quickly realising how they can maximise investment and boost margins with this unique product.
Simon Golding, Director of Sales at B2Lateral Ltd, said: "This deal with Binary Resource UK is great news for us. We are always looking for new products to help us increase sales and we believe that the UIU is a unique proposition and will drive the success of our business throughout the year."
Annette Dow, Director of BRUK, commented: "B2Lateral Ltd is our latest channel partner and we are delighted to have them on board, given their impressive track record. We look forward to working closely with them on targeting UIU 3.0 into a variety of vertical markets in the UK."
She continued: "Establishing BRUK in the UK market is extremely important for our company's global expansion and we are very committed to the channel model."
-Ends- Binary Resource (UK) Ltd. Binary Resource is based in Canterbury, Kent and is a registered subsidiary of Binary Research International Inc. (BRI), which is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. The companies evolved from Binary Research Ltd., a New Zealand-based organisation that created the world's first PC Cloning software - Ghost - now Symantec Ghost.
