Harcourts No. 1 Achieves Phenomenal $400 Million Milestone

Legendary real estate figure, Shaun Cosgrave of the Harcourts Hamilton Glenview office reached a new personal best and broke all Harcourts records earlier this month when he was recognised for managing the sale of a phenomenal $400 million dollars worth of property.

With a strong commitment to his home town of Hamilton testament to the number of repeat and referral calls he receives, in his 12 years in the industry, Mr Cosgrave has continued to work across all types of residential property, from first home buyers to investors and ‘executive mansions’. Harcourts Hamilton Business Partner and close friend, Brian King said, “Shaun is such a well known figure and rather than restricting himself to one part of the market, considers it a privilege to work with all people no matter what stage they are at. He treats his clients with the utmost respect which is why he has been so successful. Shaun is such a major figure not only in our business but the real estate industry as a whole.”

Mr Cosgrave confirmed he had enjoyed a record year due to both the volume of sales, as well as the value properties were achieving in Hamilton. Renowned for successfully marketing as many as 100 property listings at any one time, Mr Cosgrave’s focus and commitment is backed by, “Systems, systems and systems and having the right people on my team which is the real asset in my business. We never leave the office until all that day’s activities are completed. ‘Do it tomorrow’ is not in our vocabulary.” He added, “To be the first person in Harcourts to achieve this is such a milestone. Mr Cosgrave has been Harcourts New Zealand’s Number One sales consultant for the last three years ahead of his more than 1,900 Harcourts peers nationwide. He has also achieved Supreme Winner in the Real Estate Institute’s Central Region (Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne) Salesperson of the Year Award for a remarkable six times, and won the Residential Real Estate Division (population 70,000+) category.
