Hoffman Hyundai opens in Palmerston North

Hyundai gains a big new presence in Palmerston North this week with the opening of Hoffman Hyundai.

Officially beginning on 1 March 2007, the dealership initially will be operating from the familiar Hoffman address at 407 Rangitikei Street.

Later this year Hoffman Hyundai shifts into a brand new, purpose-built facility at a new site.

In the meantime the previous Hyundai dealer, Z-One, provides Hyundai parts and service to the region.

“Gaining the Hyundai franchise is a major step forward for us,” commented Dealer Principal, Alistair Hoffman.

“This is the exciting, developing brand in the New Zealand marketplace and it is so well suited to the needs of drivers in the Manawatu Region.

“Hyundai also fits well with our dedicated team, which offers more than 40 years’ combined experience in the industry.

“Our hands-on approach is keyed to giving Manawatu drivers what they are looking for in a vehicle,” Mr. Hoffman said.

Hoffman Hyundai is yet another solus Hyundai dealer in the nationwide network, reports Hyundai Automotive NZ Managing Director, Philip Eustace.

“The huge growth Hyundai has enjoyed in New Zealand has transformed many dealerships,” he explained. “Our leading dealers are now solely Hyundai focused, and they are enjoying strong advantages from that.

“We are delighted with Alistair Hoffman’s appointment and we know both the dealership and the people of the Manawatu will benefit from it.

“With Hyundai’s strong focus on quality right across the range of cars and SUVs, the brand fits well.”
