A new ‘must read’ home and property guide launches

Sunday Star-Times has a new glossy home and lifestyle magazine included free with the newspaper from this Sunday.

Sunday Star-Times domain is a new 32-page residential property magazine aiming to entertain and inform with a compelling mix of home and lifestyle content using the newspaper’s own award winning writers and drawing on the knowledge of Fairfax Media’s flagship lifestyle publications NZ House & Garden and NZ Gardener.

The editor of domain is accomplished Sunday Star-Times property journalist Greg Ninness who promises a range of features on aspects of the residential property market and the process of buying and selling, as well as trends in home décor and accessories.

“We won’t just be showcasing top end properties; we’re determined to present a mix of affordable options and really focus on the surrounding area including commentary on the key features of the suburb and the state of the local property market,” says Fairfax Media Sundays general manager David Mackenzie.

Mackenzie says “domain will be a must read home and property guide – not just for those in the market to buy and sell, but also for the many New Zealanders who enjoy reading, learning and dreaming about home design and interiors. We’ve been delighted with the support from advertisers who really see its potential.”

domain will initially be included with all copies of the Sunday Star-Times in the top half of the North Island from Taupo north from this weekend onwards, reaching almost 290,000 readers aged 20+. The high quality glossy presentation means that, like Sunday magazine, this is a publication that can be expected to have a week long lifespan as a coffee table magazine in cafes, offices and homes.
