Prominent new location for
St Heliers branch
The prominent new location for Barfoot & Thompson’s St Heliers branch is already paying off in increased business says branch manager David Kelly.
The company’s successful St Heliers branch has relocated to a highly visible position within the St Heliers Bay village and Mr Kelly says already the increased foot traffic and enquiry level is noticeable.
“February was very busy for our residential sales team with a number of very strong auction sales and the property management team experienced one of their busiest months ever.”
The St Heliers branch is home to 24 salespeople, two property managers and three frontline staff. Mr Kelly says the spacious new premises mean the whole team has more room to spread out and the working environment is light and airy with a great sea view.
Mr Kelly says the local St Heliers property market has been very busy over the summer months with the average branch sale price for the financial year edging close to $800,000.
He says the Glendowie area is currently highly sought after for its family homes on full sites. “Anything with a full sized section is being snapped up. Certainly any vendors interested in selling a full site property at the moment should drop in and see us for a chat about local market demand.”
Mr Kelly says it’s great to see the number of people stopping to look at the window display and coming inside to make enquiries. “We love seeing locals coming through our front door and look forward to continuing to be of service to St Heliers residents and those in the wider eastern suburbs from our smart new address on the corner of St Heliers Bay Road and Tamaki Drive.”
