PricewaterhouseCoopers Makes Two New Local Government/Infrastructure Appointments

David Walker and Bryan Taylor have joined the Local Government and Infrastructure team at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The leader of PwC's local government and infrastructure team, Craig Rice, said the appointments were a reflection of the renewed importance that PwC was placing on these areas. "There are benefits in hiring two people with senior expertise in local authority management. Our aim is to develop an integrated PwC service offering for the local government and infrastructure sectors. The specific skills of David and Bryan will enable the firm to work closely with organisations in these areas for the benefit of the wider community."

David Walker will join the firm as a director and comes to PwC following 10 years in the executive team at Auckland City Council. He has broad project, financial and operational management experience.

Bryan Taylor joins as an advisor and has 15 years of local government experience in governance and senior executive roles, including 9 years as Chief Executive of Auckland City Council.
