New 'Airport Business Park'
New 'Airport Business Park' Generates Early Interest
Pre-launch
A new commercial development to be marketed by both DTZ and Colliers as 'The Airport Business Park' has been officially launched in Christchurch and has already generated interest from potential tenants.
Situated at the former Meadow Fresh yoghurt plant at 92 Russley Road, which closed last year, the 2.78 ha B4 zoned property benefits from a large frontage to Russley Road and State Highway 1, Christchurch's main arterial route north and south, and also is in close proximity to Christchurch International Airport as well as being only about 10 minutes from the CBD.
"The Airport Business Park is conceptualized as a high profile, prestigious development and we believe it will have a huge positive benefit for the area -especially since large sites such as this are scarce in this favoured locality," says site owners Paul Burrowes and Tony Hickman.
"Even though we have only just commenced formal marketing we are really excited by the very positive early response. Even during the demolition stage we had strong interest from potential tenants for design & build industrial warehouses, offices and showrooms through the activity of both Colliers and DTZ who are jointly marketing the project," say Burrowes.
The new development features a central tree lined boulevard with three access points. Contemporary development plans and a complimentary architectural style work together to ensure that the property is developed to the highest standard possible.
"With about 25 000 vehicles passing the location each day, the Airport Business Park represents a unique opportunity for tenants looking for great visibility in a high profile location with good access to Christchurch International Airport, Christchurch's CBD and city suburbs. Gauging by initial interest we are more than confident that the development is destined for success," concludes Burrowes.
