Cleo Goes Live Online

The Kiwi girl’s favourite guide to life, relationships, fashion and fun is now live online 24/7. CLEO magazine’s website, cleo.co.nz, launched on Monday (March 12) in true CLEO style.

“We’ve got sexy single guys, advice, gossip, fashion, beauty, great giveaways - all the things that CLEO girls love,” says CLEO editor Sheryl Blythen. “We’re also building on our reader’s desire to be part of the CLEO community by making membership of the site super-sexy and appealing."

Everyone who registers on the site gets there own little piece of CLEO real estate – a CLEOspace page where they can create their own profile, write a blog, upload photographs and meet other readers.

7,000 Club CLEO members (the magazine’s former membership forum) received their personal invitation to become inaugural members of CLEOspace.

Lee Williams, ACP Digital director, says cleo.co.nz is another good example of the approach ACP Media is taking with the web development of its magazine brands. “The cleo.co.nz website has leveraged our editorial talent and market understanding with our digital capabilities and integration of online drivers such as community.

“It’s a model that works extremely well and ensures the brand values of the magazine are kept front of mind during development."

The launch of cleo.co.nz is being supported by a brand campaign across ACP Magazines titles and ACP digital sites, by street posters and a national radio campaign on The Edge.
