Formule 1 Auckland Introduces the 'Pit Stop Breakfast'

Innovative Hotel Formule 1 Auckland has further improved its services by this week introducing the Continental self-service 'Pit Stop Breakfast'.

Available from Monday to Friday, 7am-9:30am, and Saturday and Sunday, 7am-10am, the 'Pit Stop Breakfast' consists of cereals, toast, preserves, tea, coffee and juice for just $7.50 per person.

Formule 1 Auckland General Manager Philip Southworth says this is just another example of the hotel offering low-cost options to guests.

"Whether our guests are staying for one or two nights or several weeks, for business or leisure, it's great to have the option of a quick, value-for-money breakfast to start the day with. This is just one more way that we can make life more convenient for our visitors."

Accor took over the 'sleeping studio' style hotel in August last year, rebranding the hotel as Formule 1 Auckland. It is the first Formule 1 to be launched in New Zealand.

The 143 room hotel is located in Wyndham Street in the heart of Auckland's central business district. Rooms are compact 13 square-metre studios that offer a double bed, kitchenette, bathroom, TV and balcony. Laundry and internet facilities are also available on site.

Formule 1 is Accor's renowned budget hotel brand, with over 380 Formule 1 (and ETAP) hotels operating in 12 countries around the world, including Australia.

Accor is the worldwide leader in hotels, tourism and corporate services, employing 160,000 people in 100 countries. . It offers to its individual and corporate clients nearly 40 years of expertise in its two core businesses:
