Jeremy Corbett To Host Deal Or No Deal

Radio and television personality Jeremy Corbett is to host the new local version of ‘Deal or No Deal’ when it comes to TV3 later this year.

Corbett is thrilled to be working on the show, which screens in 35 countries worldwide.

“I’m absolutely rapt to have secured the role,” he says. “I love the show and think New Zealand audiences will feel the same way about their own version.”
Corbett, who is also a breakfast host on Auckland’s More FM, says people can expect him to have a lot of fun with the show.

“I’m friendly and here for a good time but I’ll be just silly enough for people to still want to hang out with me and mother me,” he laughs.
Corbett says if he was a contestant on the show he would take lots of risks.

“I’d grab briefcase number 11 and hold onto it for dear life. I’d also try to rip off the banker for as much money as possible,” he jokes.

Deal Or No Deal is an exciting game of odds and chance where contestants are confronted with 26 sealed briefcases full of varying amounts of cash - ranging from 10 cents to $200,000. Without knowing the amount in each briefcase, the contestant picks one – theirs to keep, if they choose - until its unsealing at game's end.

Deal or No Deal is being produced by Imagination Television Ltd for TV3.
