Orcon teams up with Fatso
New Zealand's best internet service provider, Orcon, has teamed up with New Zealand's best online DVD and game rental service, Fatso, to offer customers a great deal.
Orcon Broadband customers are able to sign up for the Fatso service and receive a free month trial, as well as an ongoing 10% discount on the service.
"This is very much the first stage of what we expect will be a long and fruitful partnership for both our companies" said Scott Bartlett, General Manager of Orcon. "We have some pretty exciting plans to work together leveraging our experience in the Internet space, and Fatso's experience delivering entertainment to consumers."
Orcon will also be offering all existing Fatso members a great deal on broadband.
With Orcon already committed to rolling out a $30 million next generation network capable of delivering high definition video content into homes and offices around the country, it is not hard to see the potential that this partnership has.
"We are really looking forward to working with Orcon as our business model evolves over the coming years to embrace the potential of the Internet as a medium for entertainment delivery" said Rob Berman, Managing Director of Westside Media, Fatso's parent company.
Look out for more from these two companies as the relationship develops and they explore new technologies together.
