‘How to Keep it Up: Agency’s creative reputation'

Media Release 05 April, 2007

2007 CAANZ Creative Function
‘How to Keep it Up: An agency’s creative reputation, you dirty minded sons of bitches” with Zak Mroueh

Don’t miss the opportunity to listen to Zak Mroueh, Executive Creative Director and partner at TAXI Canada, at the upcoming CAANZ Creative function on May 2.

Chairman of Judges for the 2007 CAANZ AXIS Awards, Zak will be giving a talk entitled ‘How to Keep it Up: an agency’s creative reputation, you dirty minded sons of bitches” about how to successfully build and sustain an agency’s creative reputation.

From hiring the right talent to articulating a vision, Zak will delve into the importance the agency’s culture has had on TAXI’s success and how this once tiny agency has built and sustained their creative reputation in a small market.

You will discover more about the agency behind last year’s award-winning Viagra campaign and how it has achieved things no other agency in Canada has done before, including opening successfully in New York, building an international reputation and growing from one office to six in a few short years.

Since joining TAXI in 1999, Zak has played an instrumental role in building the agency’s creative reputation both locally and globally. Under his leadership, TAXI has consistently been listed as one of the top shops in the Gunn report and over the past few years, TAXI’s work has placed amongst the top five most awarded campaigns in the world.

Ranked as one of the top ten Creative Directors globally by Creativity Magazine’s annual report card in 2005, Zak has also been named Creative Director of the Year three times in Canada.

The CAANZ creative function will be held on Wednesday 2nd May at The Bluestone Room. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.caanz.co.nz - numbers are limited so get in quick.
