New Division Leaders Appointed at Hirepool

New Division Leaders Appointed at Hirepool to Support Strong Growth

16 April 2007 – Hirepool Limited has made two new senior appointments as it looks to consolidate its position as the premier rental equipment solutions provider.

Stan de Thierry has been promoted to a new role as manager of Hirepool Energy, while Tere Hagai is to take over as National Divisional Manager of Henderson Rentals, recently acquired by Hirepool.

De Thierry, with more than 16 years experience in the hire equipment industry,
was previously Rotorua Branch Manager. His extensive industry knowledge, from a similar role at Projex alongside NZ Generator Hire, will be of great value in managing Hirepool’s generator and pump hire division.

Hagai has spent twelve years at Hirepool across a wide rank of tasks, most recently as Lower North Island Regional Manager. One of his key tasks there involved managing the rental vehicle fleet in Wellington.

Managing Director, Tenby Powell says these appointments demonstrate Hirepool’s commitment to create and maintain sustainable partnerships with customers, suppliers and staff. “I’m confident Stan and Tere will play a key leadership role in the growth of these new Hirepool divisions,” he says.
