Gull Passes On More Fuel Savings To Kiwi Motorists
Gull Cuts 5 Cents Per Litre On Petrol and Diesel For 12 Hours On 1 May
Auckland, 1 May 2007 – Gull New Zealand today announced that it was again leading the way and dropping its petrol and diesel price by 5 cents per litre for 12 hours (7am – 7pm) as a way of passing on more savings to Kiwi motorists.
Dave Bodger General Manager of Gull New Zealand says that following Gull’s popular price promotion around Easter which saw tens of thousands of Kiwi motorists save real dollars during the busy travel period it was time for another pricing special.
“What better than to start May with a May Day Special of another 5 cents per litre cut for 12 hours as our way of again thanking our loyal customers who have asked us to drop prices again,” says Bodger.
Bodger says that he is sure the 5 cent per litre price cut will give motorists savings and is a positive demonstration of how people can save on their fuel bills if they choose to fill up regularly at Gull stations.
“Only Gull has consistently delivered lower petrol and diesel prices to Kiwi’s, and we are proud to continue our track record of being market leaders in providing the most competitive fuel prices to New Zealand motorists,” says Bodger
The discount of 5 cents per litre is effective at the majority of retail sites where Gull controls the fuel price.
