Cisco Systems Appoints Health Business Development Manager

Global networking firm Cisco Systems has appointed Malcolm Miller to the role of Health Business Development Manager in its Auckland office.

Malcolm will be responsible for growing business relationships, providing leadership advice and building comprehensive channels within the health sector. He will also focus on developing the next generation health network for Cisco.

Malcolm brings with him a wealth of experience in the ICT and health sectors. Prior to joining Cisco he was the National Head of Health Sector Marketing and Sales at Vodafone New Zealand.

He has also held positions at Telecom New Zealand, Applied Materials and Netway Communications.

Malcolm trained as a medical doctor at The University of Auckland School of Medicine, completing his BHB in 2000 and MBChB in 2005.

Malcolm also holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Auckland and an MBA in Asia Pacific International Business from the Universities of Hawaii and Hitotsubashi (Tokyo).
