Dish Cleans Up Again

Jones Publishing's Dish magazine cleaned up the Home & Food category at the 2007 Magazine Publishers' Association Awards on Friday night.

Dish won 'Magazine of the Year - Home & Food' for the second year in a row. The judges commented that: "This magazine's clean, clear and consistently high quality design is complemented perfectly by accessible, informative writing."

The ceremony also saw Dish editor, Catherine Bell, awarded 'Editor of the Year - Home & Food'. The judges said Catherine's genuine aim to inspire people about food, to learn where it comes from, how it is grown and how it relates to 'home', shines through.

Dish was also a finalist in 'Journalist of the Year - Home & Food' for writer Nicole Curin-Birch and 'Designer of the Year - Home & Food' for creative director Mary Davy.

Co-publisher and Editor Catherine Bell says; "It is a privilege to be able to communicate my passion for food to so many people and I feel very honoured to be recognised for doing something I love. The Dish team might be a small one, but its members are extremely talented and I want to acknowledge each of them for their part this achievement."
