Cadbury Named NZ Most Trusted Brand Five Years in a Row
Kiwis Still Have A Sweet Spot For Cadbury
The 2007 Reader's Digest Most Trusted Brand survey highlights that Kiwis continue to have a sweet spot for Cadbury. Cadbury is very proud to be voted by consumers as New Zealand's most trusted brand in the 2007 Reader's Digest Most Trusted Brand survey for the fifth consecutive year.
Producing some of New Zealand's favourite chocolate, including iconic products such as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Caramello, Cadbury Moro and Cadbury Pinky, Cadbury continues to bring its own special brand of happiness to the lives of New Zealanders of all ages.
"Whether getting 'more go' with a Cadbury Moro, sharing a block of Cadbury Dairy Milk with the family or giving Cadbury Roses on a special occasion, Cadbury chocolate continues to be a cherished treat," said Mark Callaghan, Director, Cadbury Confectionery New Zealand.
"We're extremely proud that Cadbury has been voted Most Trusted Brand for the fifth consecutive year and delighted to continue to bring such enjoyment to the lives of New Zealanders," Mark continued.
Every year Cadbury continues to innovate, with many new products introduced in the past 12 months, including the Cadbury Dairy Milk Desserts range, Moro Gold and Cadbury Old Gold 70% Cocoa.
Cadbury is also extensively involved in the community through a variety of partnerships. This year Cadbury Moro was a key part of the national break dancing championships at X-Air in Wellington. The Cadbury Dream Model Search is helping young New Zealand women realise their dreams of becoming a model, and Cadbury Dairy Milk is proud to once again sponsor the ever popular Dancing with the Stars on TV One. Cadbury is also proud to support community groups such as Variety the Children's Charity and Cure Kids.
"Cadbury has special meaning for the people of Dunedin where the company has been part of city life for more than 70 years. The factory produces many of the nation's much loved Cadbury chocolate products and is one of the largest private employers in New Zealand," said Mark Callaghan.
"Visitors to Dunedin can have their own Cadbury experience with a tour of Cadbury World. A true sensation of sight, smell and sound, the attraction gives people the chance to experience the workings of a chocolate factory, sample and purchase Cadbury products and much more.
"Every year Dunedin hosts the Cadbury Chocolate Carnival bringing a little bit of Cadburyness to the people of the city. The Carnival offers a range of chocolatey delights through art, theatre, music, chocolate sculpting and, of course, the annual chocolate Jaffa race down Baldwin Street, the steepest street in the world," Mark said.
