conveyIT partners with Trade Me

The national network of property conveyancers, conveyIT, today announced a partnership with New Zealand’s largest online marketplace Trade Me, to provide essential legal information to all Trade Me property buyers.

Starting today every property listing on Trade Me will have a direct link to conveyIT to deliver independent property-related legal information and advice specific to the New Zealand market.

The website also contains a network of local firms throughout the country that will provide high quality property conveyancing for Trade Me members.

“conveyIT is excited to be partnering up with Trade Me, to ensure that property buyers are equipped with all of the legal information they need” says Gibson Sheat Lawyers Chairman, Tony Southall. - the law firm behind the development of the conveyIT system.

“Increasingly, people are conducting their property transactions over the net, so it is important that crucial legal information is as accessible as the property listings.”

Trade Me Property is the #1 visited real estate website in New Zealand and currently has over 38,000 properties listed on their site, with an estimated 100,000 listings across New Zealand to appear over the next year.

“conveyIT took the #1 spot in a very competitive selection process for conveyancing services,” said Trade Me general manager Sam Morgan.

“What really swung it was their ability to provide a nationwide network of providers across the country and their obvious commitment to eCommerce.”

“The conveyIT website gives the Trade Me community of 1.6 million users a great source of free legal information and access to trusted lawyers in their area.”
