ACP Magazines Editorial Promotions
ACP Magazines today announced the promotion of two senior editorial staff. The editor of CLEO magazine, Sheryl Blythen, has been appointed as ACP Digital’s first Editorin- Chief, a brand new role that reflects the company’s growing investment in developing websites for its editorial properties. CLEO’s Deputy Editor Shelley Hill has been promoted to Editor and will take over from Sheryl on July 1.
Shelley is well versed in the interests and needs of young women having also worked on Dolly magazine. “I’m looking forward to continuing CLEO’s reputation as the leading brand for young women in New Zealand,” says Shelley.
Sheryl Blythen moves into the role of ACP Digital Editor-in-Chief having recently overseen the successful launch of www.cleo.co.nz, which already boasts more than 25,000 unique browsers a month. “I’ve had the time of my life editing CLEO,” says Sheryl. “I’ve worked with a great team who truly invest themselves in creating the best CLEO every month and I’m looking forward to applying my editorial experience to enhancing the content and audience engagement of our websites.”
As ACP Digital Editor-in-Chief, Sheryl will lead a team of website editors working on the likes of www.taste.co.nz, www.metrolive.co.nz and the just launched www.yourhomeandgarden.co.nz.
