World of Accor, the largest hotel expo in the Asia Pacific, is coming to Auckland next month, providing agents, wholesalers, corporate bookers and MICE organisers with all the latest accommodation news and trends across the region.
On August 16, representatives from Accor's 300 hotels across New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific and Asia will hold its annual trade expo at Novotel Ellerslie, gaining insight into the group's new developments, products and services.
The New Zealand event will be held on 16 August and is part of Accor's Asia Pacific series of trade expos, which this year will be held in a record 14 destinations across the region. World of Accor will be held at Novotel Ellerslie Auckland, with more than 300 delegates guests expected to attend.
Delegates will be able to hear more about key developments such as Christchurch's new Ibis Hotel, the extensive expansion and renovation of Novotel Gardens Queenstown and plans for the new Hotel Ibis Hamilton, due to open in December. News from further afield includes the opening of several new hotels in areas popular with New Zealand travellers such as Cairns and Palm Cove in North Queensland; Bali, Bangkok, and Beijing in Asia; the launch of new Club Sofitel lounges in Sydney and Melbourne; and the re-launch of Nadi's famous Mocambo Hotel as Fiji's first Novotel.
"We are experiencing unprecedented growth in the region and opening up many new destinations that New Zealand agents are selling," said Accor's Area Director Sales & Marketing for New Zealand and South Pacific, John Farrell.
