Mortgage Express Partners with National Road Carriers and CODA
31 July 2007
New Zealand’s largest non-franchised mortgage brokerage, Mortgage Express has announced a new partnership as the preferred mortgage broker for National Road Carriers and CODA (Combined Owner Driver Association) members.
CEO/Director of Mortgage Express, Andrew L’Almont said in today’s market the right home loan made a crucial difference to an individual’s or family’s overall spending power with even the smallest adjustment in interest rates or conditions saving literally tens of thousands of dollars over the course of a home loan.
“We know people working in standard ‘nine to five’ jobs find it difficult enough to take the time to search through all the options, so imagine how difficult it can be to manage your home affairs when you’re an operator on the road a lot of the time. As the largest non-franchise mortgage broker in New Zealand with just on 50 brokers nationwide and access to 19 different lenders, we are delighted to have been appointed by National Road Carrier and CODA to assist their members.”
Bruce Reid, Executive Director of National Road Carriers said he saw the relationship with Mortgage Express fitting well with the range of benefits currently available to members of the Association. “We look to partner with market leaders who are willing to understand the best way to deliver services to our Membership. Mortgage Express has taken the time to understand the demands of our industry and the best way to service it. We look forward to working closely with the team of Mortgage Express to help our Membership benefit from their specialist service.”
Mr L’Almont noted, “Over 40 percent of New Zealanders now use mortgage brokers in their search for the most appropriate home loan. People recognize that major broker firms like Mortgage Express can often get them a better deal through their own bank that they can get themselves.” He added that people also increasingly realised Mortgage Brokers could be contacted at any time during the course of a home loan and should not wait for their loan to expire before ensuring they had the best deal to maximise savings.
