World of Accor 'Bubbles' With Prizes
Largest hotel expo comes to Auckland on Thursday 16 August

World of Accor, the largest hotel expo in the Asia Pacific, is coming to Auckland next week (16 August) , providing agents, wholesalers, inbound operators, corporate bookers and MICE organisers with all the latest accommodation news and trends across the region.

There will also be a wide range of hotel prizes from Accor's New Zealand, Australian, Pacific and Asian hotels, which will be given away each and every hour of the hotel expo.

The annual trade expo will be held at Novotel Ellerslie in two sessions: 10am – 2pm (lunch provided) and 4pm – 7pm (drinks and canapés provided). The major prize is a return seven day holiday for two to Tahiti and her Islands, staying at Sofitel Tahiti and Sofitel Moorea Beach Resort The draw for this fantastic prize takes place during the evening session and only registered delegates will be eligible to win the major prizes.

More than 500 delegates have registered for the expo, which will feature booths and representatives from Accor hotels across the Asia Pacific region, providing information about new developments, product and services.

Delegates will be able to hear more about key developments such as Christchurch's new Ibis Hotel, the extensive expansion and renovation of Novotel Gardens Queenstown and plans for the new Hotel Ibis Hamilton, due to open in December. News from further afield includes the opening of several new hotels in areas popular with New Zealand travellers, such as Cairns and Palm Cove in North Queensland; Bali, Bangkok and Beijing in Asia; the launch of new Club Sofitel lounges in Sydney and Melbourne and the re-launch of Nadi's famous Mocambo Hotel as Fiji's first Novotel.

Accor's expansion will see the Asia Pacific network grow from its current 300 hotels to more than 350 hotels by the end of 2008.
